Jimmie’s Bio

Coach Jimmie started playing soccer with the Wing’s Club in the 8th grade and continued through high school. He played club soccer where he attended Southern Illinois University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics Degree. His soccer career was far from over as he obtained an Illinois State and IHSA referee certification. Upon traveling all over the state refereeing tournaments, fate put him back home to referee for the infamous Midwest Wings Fall Classic tournament. Jimmie then started coaching with the club in 2006, and has impacted over 300 players. Some who have gone on to play at colleges such as University of Chicago, Marquette, University Northwestern University, Robert Morris University, Monmouth College, and South Suburban College. “I enjoy helping kids develop their love of the game and reach their maximum potential; that’s the true reward” – Coach Jimmie
